In the Prix Demeures de Campagne at the Chantilly Classic, the French delegation once again demonstrated its strength. The top five featured three French combinations with strong performances from the United States to counterbalance.
Victory went to Marc Dilasser with Arioto du Gevres (Diamant de Semilly). Dilasser delivered a clear round in 68.19 seconds. Frédéric Bouvard followed in second place with Kinoa d’Ayrifagne (Douglas), also riding a precise course to secure a French one-two.
Third place was claimed by the experienced American rider Laura Kraut with Tres Bien Z (Toulon), who once again confirmed her consistency at this level. She rode her round in 70.77. Sara Brionne kept the French flag high in fourth place with Grand Duc du Paradiso (Vagabond de la Pomme). Young American Hallie Grimes completed the top five with Chaccato PS (Diablo Blanco).

Frédéric Vernaet unbeatable in 1.40m CSI4*!
Frederic Vernaet convincingly won the Prix EHS 1m40. Benny Naessens secured a second Belgian place on the podium with Kannavara Z (Toulon) by finishing with bronze.
With the BWP mare Okina van de Bien (Toulon), Vernaet recorded a clear round with 60.91 on the counter. Alix Ragot held the French honor with Serafina DBH Z (Stakkato gold), who finished second with 61.65 seconds.
The top five was further completed by Frenchman Thibault Touron with Casanova ZSZ (Cesano II) finishing fourth with three seconds difference, and Egyptian Karim Elzoghby on Quite Cumano (Cumano) stranded in fifth place.
