American Spencer Smith came close with Hhs Seattle (Pacino), but had to settle for second place with 60.90 seconds. His compatriot Kent Farrington, number 1 in the world rankings, surprisingly finished third with Myla (Crunch 3) in 61.37 seconds.

Dutch rider Sanne Thijssen finished just outside the podium. Together with Con Quidam RB (Quinar Z) she stayed clear and clocked 62.48 seconds, good for a fourth place. Completing the top five was Petronella Andersson in the saddle of Odina Van Klapscheut (Zazu).

Abdel Saïd with Arpege du RU (Apache d'Adriers) was the only Belgian to place in the top 15 for the Grand Prix. With a clear round and a time of 63.76 seconds, he was competing for the top spot on Sunday.
