France'sJean Michel Martinot on top in home CSI1* GP Chazey sur Ain

The international CSI1* Grand Prix in France's Chazey sur Ain was set at a height of 1.40m. After an exciting jump-off with only two clear rounds it was Jean Michel Martinot and the Mr. Blue x If de Merze Selle Français, Romeo de Villaret who took the win. The pair crossed the finish in a time of 35,95 seconds. Switzerland's Jennifer Meylan followed as runner-up. Aboard Ubiana d'Albain (by Kannan) he stopped the clock in 38,39 seconds. The record time was set by Benoit Cerin and Tea Star d'Oyale (by Quick Star). The French show jumping rider jumped around in 34.79 seconds, but noted one rail down. Romain Duguet (Tipsy Girl Loisel, by Diamant de Semilly) and Julien Gonin (Une Etoile Landaise, by Balougran Z) followed in a fourth and fifth place. Both combinations collected a total of four points.
